Enrollment Policies
Enrolling at Little Explorers means putting your child's growth first!
- Peace of Mind: This will become evident the minute you enter our warm, safe facility, and speak with our staff. You will simply feel good about leaving your children with us. We’re licensed by the State of Texas.
- A Wide Range of Programs for Your Children: We’re a complete childcare, preschool, and elementary facility, providing top-notch childcare, education, and fun for children ages six (6) weeks to 12 years old.

- The Best People: Our owner is hands-on and committed to excellence. The staff has experience as well as education to best serve your child. Our personnel are college-degreed, drug tested, and background checked.
- The Best People, Part Two: Our staff is thoroughly trained for emergencies, holding regular mock drills, and the all of them are CPR certified. They are also trained in First Aid and recognition of Communicable Diseases / signs of child abuse.
- Proven Curriculum: We incorporate TEKS Standards, Circle Curricula, Frog Street Curricula, MONTESSORI Inspired, REGGIO EMILIA Inspired, and STEAM and which are the nation’s leading early educations methods. We focus on exploration through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

- 4. Immunization record including the child’s name, date of birth, address, dates of each immunization and the name of the health provider. This record must include a Physicians Stamp and/or Signature.
- Fill Out an Inquiry Form and Submit It to the School Online.
- Tour Little Explorers’ Academy.
- Complete the Application Packet, Compile All Required Documents for Admission, and Bring All to the Interview Appointment and Pay the Application Fee online.
- Complete the Assessment and/or Test.
- Schedule an Interview Appointment.
- Pay Tuition and Any Outstanding Fees for Enrollment.
- Complete and Confirm the Reading of our Family Handbook and Emergency Preparedness Procedures.

- Copy of Current Report Card from Another School (If Applicable)
- Copy of Cumulative Record from Another School (If Applicable)
- Copy of Discipline Record from Another School (If Applicable)
- Copy of Standardized Assessments from Previous School (K-2nd Grades Only) (If Applicable)
- Copy Of Academic/Psycho-Educational Testing (If Applicable)
- All K-2nd Grade Students coming to Little Explorers Academy.
- Testing may also be offered or requested if the parents or staff have questions or concerns about students’ current academic standing.

- PreK-3, PreK-4, Kindergarten: 5 Partial Day Classes - 8 am – 12 pm daily.
- PreK-3, PreK-4, Kindergarten: 3 Partial Day Classes - 8 am – 12 pm daily.
- PreK-3, PreK-4, Kindergarten: 3 FULL SCHOOL Day Classes - 8 am – 3 pm daily.
- MOTHER’S Day Out: Newborns – 3 years old: 5 Half School Day Classes - 8 am – 2 pm daily.
- MOTHER’S Day Out: Newborns – 3 years old: 3 Half School Day Classes - 8 am – 2 pm daily.
- Fees to be determined.

- PreK-4, and Kindergarten will be billed $30 to cover graduation costs.
- All students Infant – 4 years old will be billed $100 annually.
- All students in Grades Kindergarten - 2nd Grade will be billed $200 annually.
- Billed in payments during the first month of enrollment or in two payments in the first two months.
- Breakfast (7:00 am to 8:30 am)
- Lunch (11:00 am to 12:00 pm)
- 3 Snacks (Morning, Afternoon and Evening)

Our ultimate goal is to meet the learning needs of students so that they can experience academic success and personal growth. Each student is evaluated on an individual basis with the attempt to determine our ability to meet those needs.
Complete the New Student Application Packet. You may fill out the documents digitally and email it to the School Office OR you may print the packet to fill out at home and drop it off BEFORE you schedule your Interview Appointment.
For families that need assistance in completing the application, we encourage you to set an appointment with the School Office. We are always happy to help our families!
REMINDER: This admissions packet needs to be returned to the School Office (via Email or Drop Off), with the other required documents below, BEFORE you make an Appointment for the Interview. The application will be reviewed prior to this meeting.

Step 4: Complete the Entrance Assessment and/or Testing
Entrance Assessment /Testing will be required for:
A student whose physical, emotional, and/or academic needs do not exceed our staffing capabilities will be given consideration for admissions. Little Explorers Academy will work with Klein ISD to offer services to meet the needs of most students on 504 plans or an IEP. We approach each case individually to determine if we can meet the needs of the whole student.
The completion of the age-appropriate Assessment is a Requirement for families to be eligible to be admitted into our academy and must be brought to the Interview Appointment COMPLETED. For each space or words, determine YES or NO that your child knows what is being asked.

Once your application has been reviewed, you have been interviewed, and accepted into our Academy, you will be sent an email instructing you to create a Family Online Login in ProCare where you will be able to communicate with us regarding your child, including setting up payments!
Step 6: Pay Tuition and Any Outstanding Fees for Enrollment
You will be given access to Register on our ProCare App to Pay these Fees.
Step 7: Complete and Confirm the Reading of the Family Handbook and Emergency Procedures
All parents/guardians must read these manuals and acknowledge receipt in writing.

Tuition and Fees
APPLICATION FEE
$50 for each New Student Application. NON-REFUNDABLE
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE
$200 for Returning Students. $300 for New Students. NON-REFUNDABLE
CLASS OPTIONS
* 3 Days a Week is on T/W/TH of each week.
EXTENDED CARE
Options are available for BEFORE Morning care starting at 6:00am and AFTER care until 6:00pm daily.
PLACEMENT
Placement in Early Enrichment is based on your child’s birthdate as of September 1st. Your child will be placed in the appropriate class based on age and abilities.
TUITION
Tuition is billed as a yearly rate or monthly rate divided over 10 or 12 months. There will be no refunds or credits for any days missed due to illness, vacation, inclement weather or withdrawal. Tuition is the same monthly regardless of number of class days in a month or number of days personally attended. All payments are processed via automatic draft through a checking/savings account or credit/debit card. Families are required to have a ProCare account for payment processing and will be charged a $50.00 annual fee due in the first month of attendance.
Families using credit/debit card will be charged an additional 3% convenience fee per transaction.

ELEMENTARY EDUCATION – KINDERGARTEN, 1ST GRADE, 2ND GRADE
For over 6 years, Little Explorers’ Academy has been providing the community with quality Christian education. Students receive daily Christian instruction, which provides them with the tools that enable them to make appropriate choices. Our goal is to empower students in their faith development and to apply God’s Word to their daily living. A professional staff of trained Christian educators and parental involvement make it possible to realize our school’s mission as we work together. Core subjects, including Bible, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science are taught on a daily basis, with multiple opportunities for fitness breaks. Spanish, Art, Music, and PE are also part of the daily curriculum. Technology is integrated into instruction at all elementary age levels and provides the students with hands-on experience and opportunities to advance their personal technological skills.
