Our Programs

Our preschool program for early preschool age children is both - working parent-friendly, and also an exceptional place for young minds to learn. Your child(ren) will be safe, warm, cared for, and they will make new friends as they begin to experience the world around them. We provide two (2) meals a day and three (3) snacks, making us convenient for every situation.

About Your Preschooler and Learning

Preschool age is where our littlest people really start to grow. Attention spans increase, numbers and letters become recognizable, and problems begin to be solved. Also, emotions are expressed more clearly, relationships with others are formed, and the joy of achievement becomes something to strive for.

We gear our early preschool curriculum to encourage and nurture growth during these formative, happy years. From crafts to stories, poems and music to introducing tools (rulers, crayons, child-safe scissors) to basic reading, counting and computer use, we’ll ensure your children are well-prepared (and even ahead of schedule) for the school years that lay ahead.

We also encourage “everyday learning,” such as discussion of the weather, appropriate news events, the natural world around them, and more. And, of course, continued learning of self-help skills, such as appropriate potty training and etiquette, washing hands, etc.

At Little Explorers Academy, we’re passionate about children’s early development and learning. This is why we utilize the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, STEAM and FROG STREET Curriculums working with and educating children to explore themes that kids not only enjoy, but also meet the State of Texas' Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards Curriculum.

Our programs are age-appropriate, engaging, and fun. Our goal is to help create a foundation where learning simply becomes part of a child’s life, which paves the way for future success.

We utilize the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, STEAM and FROG STREET Curriculums as a base for our preschool programs. The STEAM Curriculum was developed after extensive research by leading educators who believe children learn best when they are engaged, and feel both safe and valued. STEAM focuses on: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. We teach children, and we also teach them how to learn. They will learn to feel confident enough to express ideas and make choices. And have fun doing it!

We’re also technologically proficient, and utilize the latest in digital tools and computers. Oftentimes, childcare facilities are the last to upgrade, but we’re making technology a focus, because we see it as vital.

In the end, we’re confident that our approach is extremely well-rounded, and that your children will receive the engaging and stimulating learning young minds crave.
