Little Explorers Academy is thrilled to participate in the new Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program, designed to expand options – School Choice - and open more doors for Texas families. Our school holds three powerful quality recognitions: NAEYC recognition for meeting rigorous national standards of early childhood excellence, ICAA foundation accreditation, and a 4‑Level Texas Rising Star rating – the highest quality level in the state’s system for childcare programs. All Texas children are eligible to apply for TEFA if they live in Texas and are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted to the U.S., meaning your child can qualify regardless of income or school district.
Families can feel confident that when they use a TEFA voucher at Little Explorers Academy, their child is learning in a high-quality, research‑based, and nurturing environment recognized for going above and beyond the minimum standards of Texas education.
Beginning February 4, 2026 - 9:00 am, parents can submit a TEFA application for children who turn 3 years old on or before September 1, 2026, and older. Little Explorers Academy is one of only a few schools in our area currently accepting TEFA vouchers, giving your family a rare opportunity to access a high-quality early childhood program with powerful state financial support that covers full tuition.
